Wellhead Penetrator Cables
Wellhead penetrator cables provide the crucial link to power downhole electric submersible pumps (ESPs) and other wellhead components. These feed-through systems require cabling that can endure high levels of mechanical stress and extended periods of vibration. These components must also perform reliably in a variety of environmental perils, including hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, mud, oil, high temperatures, and salt from marine deployments. PEEK Insulated Wire
PEEK insulated wire for penetrator cables offers some of the top performance properties of any insulated wire. PEEK offers excellent flame resistance, is abrasion resistant, and is highly resistant to impact and wear for increased durability. PEEK insulation performs in temperatures up to 500 °F (260 °C) and is resistant to a broad range of chemicals, including acids, bases, water, and hydrocarbons. PEEK wire is 100% AC spark tested in-line during production.

PFA Insulated Wire
PFA insulation over wire provides a low-friction coating for easier cable pushability. PFA is optically clear and more flexible than PEEK coating. PFA is available in a high purity form, minimizing the risk of contaminating substances that it contacts. PFA coating is also an excellent gas barrier to prevent chemicals from reaching the coated wire and is highly chemically resistant. PFA has a working temperature of up to 500 °F (260 °C), is flame-resistant, and exhibits high dielectric strength.
