Zeus StreamLiner™ series uses the latest technology to produce the most versatile and thinnest PTFE catheter liners yet. With max walls of 0.001″ (0.025 mm) and below and available in multiple configurations, StreamLiner™ series represents a new class of precision liners that set the standard for advanced catheter designs
StreamLiner™
Pairing max wall thicknesses of 0.001″ (0.025 mm) and below with best-in-class tensile strength, free-extruded StreamLiner™ catheter liners enable advanced catheter designs with smaller profiles or larger working channels. From the most in-demand catheter sizes down to the smallest microcatheters, StreamLiner™ delivers.
StreamLiner™ Over-The-Wire
StreamLiner™ OTW liners help bridge the gap between film-cast and free-extruded liner technology. Blending strength and flexibility with nominal wall thicknesses as low as 0.0004″ (0.0102 mm), StreamLiner™ OTW catheter liners open new pathways for delivering lifesaving therapies. We supply StreamLiner™ OTW in discrete lengths over silver-plated copper (SPC) wire or stainless steel, providing you with a process-ready liner that maximizes efficiency and reduces cost.
StreamLiner™ NG
StreamLiner™ NG is the latest addition to the StreamLiner™ family. Thanks to Zeus’ proprietary film-cast process, which helps reduce surface imperfections and pinholes, StreamLiner™ NG catheter liners take flexibility and mechanical performance to the next level while still featuring the exceptional sizing and tolerances of existing StreamLiner™ offerings.

Revolutionizing Catheter Design
Catheters made with our StreamLiner™ series of PTFE liners allow for a reduced overall profile with greater lumen potential for finished catheter devices. The greater lumen afforded by the thinner walls results in design options that can reduce deployment force for various intra-lumen catheter technologies or improve flexibility and kink resistance.
Reduce Delamination With Tie Layer
Zeus Tie Layer can be used to enhance bond strength between StreamLiner™ and the catheter jacket. Better bond strength equals better mechanical properties and performance for the finished catheter.
- APPLICATIONS
Catheter Liners – As ultra-thin-walled liners, StreamLiner™ series is perfect for the creation of both vascular and non-vascular catheters delivering a range of options.
- KEY PROPERTIES
Biocompatible – PTFE has a proven history of use within medical devices. For more information on PTFE’s biocompatibility, contact us today.
Chemical Resistance – PTFE’s fully fluorinated nature renders it inherently unreactive towards almost all commonly encountered chemicals and bodily fluids.
Extremely Thin Walls – The StreamLiner™ series offers nominal wall thickness as low as 0.0004″ / 0.0102 mm (StreamLiner™ OTW).
Tight Tolerances – Depending on the configuration, StreamLiner™ Series has wall thickness tolerances as low as ± 0.0002″ (0.0051 mm).
Low Coefficient of Friction – PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer resin; this trait makes PTFE especially effective for micro-catheter design where lubricity and smoothness of surface are a necessity.
Sterilizable – As a PTFE component, this product is sterilizable by ETO and autoclave (maximum working temperature of 260 °C / 500 °F).
