PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high performance engineered polymer with amazing strength and heat resistant properties. PEEK polymer is a very rigid plastic with excellent lubricity. PEEK is naturally tan in color, however it can be pigmented with a wide range of colors for part identification. Thin wall PEEK is more flexible and can be cut to length with a razor blade.
Zeus' exclusive PEEKshrink® provides a “shrink to fit” layer of protection for sensitive or critical components used in a variety of applications such as medical devices, fluid handling systems, electronics, telecom hardware and oil exploration equipment. The polymer’s inherent purity and lubricity make it an ideal choice for analytical and life sciences applications. Click here for more about PEEKshrink® .
More specific properties for PEEK can be found in our Summary of Properties (PDF), available in 6 languages.
Lay-flat tubing offers seamless strength, lubricity, chemical inertness, and biocompatibility.
PEEK Insulated Wire (commonly referred to as magnet wire) results from the intermingling of PEEK with copper wire. PEEK Insulated Wire has high continuous operating temperature, excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, and dielectric strength.
Zeus' Drawn Fiber has excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and tenacity. PEEK Drawn Fiber also performs excellent in extreme temperatures up to 500°F/260°C, produces low smoke and gas emissions, and has high elongation properties.
Spiral cut, convoluted, multi-lumen, special profiles, flares and flanges, special fillers, custom blends and more.
