FEP Tubing is often referred to under the trade name "Teflon® Tubing". Teflon is actually three different polymer resins developed by DuPont: FEP, PTFE, and PFA.
Applications where FEP tubing is chosen usually require more clarity, flexibility or a lower heat shrinkable temperature than PTFE. More information on the properties of FEP resin can be found in our Tech Info section.
