Chemical Resistance Chart - PCTFE

Note: The chemical resistance of any polymer is defined largely by the chemical structure of the material and the strength of the weakest link in this structure.

PCTFE resin has become a popular choice for aerospace applications because of its extremely low outgassing. PCTFE is also ideal for cryogenic application. Products made from PCTFE have excellent physical, mechanical, and electrical properties, along with flame resistance, chemical resistance, and low moisture absorption.

The information in the Zeus eNewsletter, website, catalog, and other sources present and discuss generally accepted properties for non-pigmented virgin polymer resins from which ZEUS fabricates its line of extruded products. Actual properties may change due to processing method, resin grade, extruded dimensions, and other variables. It is the end user's responsibility to fully evaluate and test the fitness of the product for their specific application.
