Embedding sustainability across every aspect of our business.
Staying true to our roots and reputation as a pioneering collaborative, and forward-looking company, our sustainability strategy is ambitious and actionable. It is also commercially effective, grounded in transparency, informed by stakeholder input, and defined by measurable outcomes. We call it Performance Forward – driving excellence across Zeus operations, materials, people, and governance.
We’ve always been focused on performance at Zeus. With Performance Forward, we’re building on that with an ambitious and transparent approach, one that holds us accountable for delivering measurable impact across our global business.”

Reducing emissions and waste through measurable, science-based action.
reduction target for Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 2030 from a 2023 baseline
of suppliers covering Scope 3 purchased goods & services emissions targeted to have science-based goals by 2030
energy from renewable sources by 2030
To optimize internal operations, we have measured our carbon emissions, set reduction goals, and validated our decarbonization targets through the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Operational sustainability extends beyond Zeus’ own facilities, so we are engaging our suppliers on climate action through data collection, target validation, and collaboration on strategic procurement.
Ultimately, we aim to deepen supplier engagement, ensuring that all high-impact partners align with science-based targets and contribute to our shared climate goals.

Reducing waste is equally central to minimizing our environmental footprint. In 2026, we have committed to standardizing data collection processes across all sites.
As a first step this includes, but is not limited to, recycling rates, quantity of waste destined for the landfill, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste generation.

For 60+ years, we have been helping our customers achieve their goals without compromise. Now, we are offering the same exceptional reliability they have come to expect – while also reducing our environmental impact.

Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets are greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals that align with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. Specifically, they aim to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. The SBTi provides the framework and independent validation to ensure corporate climate goals are rigorous and measurable.
A Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) is the total amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated throughout the life cycle of a specific product or service.
