Through improved molecular orientation, Absorv™ XSE now possesses enhanced uniformity that leads to more predictable strength and improved laser-cutting efficiency compared to our previous generation of Absorv™ oriented tubing.** With these enhancements, Absorv™ XSE is ideally suited for load-bearing applications such as bioresorbable vascular scaffolds (BRS).
The balanced radial and axial properties of Absorv™ XSE tubing, combined with its unmatched sizing (developments up to 15 mm OD), uniform wall thickness, and tailored absorption profiles, enables Absorv™ XSE to replace metallic stents in a wider variety of procedures spanning cardio, peripheral, ENT, and other related fields.
