Background
Info
For over 40
years Zeus has led the industry in the extrusion of precision
Teflon tubing.
Since the 1960s we
have been
recognized as a
pioneer in the
polymer tubing industry and have
introduced breakthrough developments such as thin-wall PTFE
Sub-Lite
Wall® tubing (0.0015"
wall thickness) and 4:1 PTFE Heat Shrinkable Tubing.
PTFE
tubing is commonly referred to as
"Teflon® tubing".
Teflon® is a registered trademark of DuPont and refers to three fluoropolymer plastic resins:
PTFE, FEP, and
PFA. These three plastics share common properties such as lubricity, chemical resistance, high temperature resistance and more. There are slight mechanical differences that make each
tube uniquely suited for different applications.

us for assistance.
As you browse through our site please note that we segment our products by their chemical name (PTFE, FEP, PFA, etc.) rather than their trade names. These products all fit into a class of plastics referred to as Fluoropolymers. For your assistance, we have prepared a table of common fluoropolymer trade names and their related resins
below. Click the

type of tubing.
