the custom
printing of
graphics,
logos and
text onto
extruded
tubing and
lay-flat.
The
semi-automated
process
allows for a
range of
printing
operations
and services
including
indexed and
360-degree
marking
around the
OD of the
tubing.
The pad
printing
process
works by
transferring
ink from an
etched metal
plate onto a
tube’s
surface with
a rubber
pad. The metal plate contains etched artwork or text info provided by the customer. Ink
is squeegeed
across the
plate and
remains in
the etched
area. The
rubber pad
then
transfers
the ink from
the etched
plate to the
tubing
surface.

A wide
selection of
inks are
available
ranging from
standard to
specialty
and medical
Class VI
approved
inks.
Various
colors and
ink
chemistries
are
available to
match the
requirements
of your
application.
Zeus Sales

Polymer for
Printing
Pad printing
services are
currently
available
for the
following
materials:
Nylon
Resins,
Pebax®,
PEEK™, PE,
PU, PETG,
and other
non-fluorinated
polymers.
Printing on
fluoropolymers
such as PTFE,
FEP, PFA and
others can
be evaluated
on a
case-by-case
basis for
high volume
applications.
Other
polymers may
also be
available
for
pad printing
upon
request.
Laser
marking
services are
also
available
for
permanent
marking onto
the surface of
the tubing.
