 Background

As a pioneer in fluoropolymer extrusion
technology, Zeus provides the electrical,
electronics, aerospace, analytical, military,
chemical, automotive, medical and other
industries with convoluted tubing that can
stand up to the abuse of hostile environments.
Zeus' method of helically convoluting the
tubing allows a smaller bend radius than
regular smooth bore tubing.
Flex
Options
Zeus convoluted
tubing can be produced in both
standard sizes
and extra
flex sizes configurations.
Extra flexible
convoluted tubing is achieved by
manufacturing tubing with a greater number
of convolutions per inch. These extra convolutions
allow the material to flex without kinking
around tighter bend diameters. Convoluted
tubing is also available in thin wall sizes.
MIL
SPECS
Zeus meets
or exceeds the Military Specifications (MIL
SPECS) for standard and custom products.
In fact, our 40 years of experience has
allowed us to assist some government agencies
in revising these specifications. Zeus convoluted
tubing is produced to MIL SPECS AMS-T-81914/
variants 1-6 in both standard and extra
convoluted.
Colors
Zeus convoluted
tubing can be produced in a wide range of
colors. Standard colors are natural and
black. PTFE tubing produced to MIL SPEC
is black while all other resins are natural
color.
Slitting
and Cuffing
Longitudinal
slitting of the convoluted tubing as well
as cuffing of PTFE tubing are also available
upon request. Slitting convoluted tubing
allows pre-existing wires to be conveniently
slipped into the tubing. Cuffing of Zeus
PTFE convoluted tubing provides the ideal
smooth surface to attach mechanical connectors
and fittings.
PEEK
Convoluted Tubing
PEEK Convoluted Tubing (Polyetheretherketone)
from Zeus is the ideal solution for many
advanced applications. Combining the flexibility
of helical convolutions with the advanced
properties of PEEK a resin, Zeus has developed
a product that excels in many demanding
application. Zeus also offers normal

and PEEK
Sub-LiteŽ Wall tubing.
