After spending ten years working in the polymer extrusion industry as an extruder operator and manager, Frank P. Tourville, Sr. branched off to found his own company – Zeus – in 1966. His motivation, in his own words, was to "do it better."
Frank Tourville chose Zeus as the name of his new company because of the moniker’s inherent power and authoritativeness. He knew people all over the world recognized Zeus from Greek mythology. Looking forward, he wanted the name to represent his company – one that he envisioned becoming a leader in polymer science – as well.
Over time, that vision has become a reality. Zeus has grown from a small start-up into a world leader in high-performance polymer extrusions and a pioneering solutions provider. Zeus operates multiple facilities in North America and internationally that guarantee a stable source of supply to customers anywhere in the world.
