	氟聚合物树脂在冰冻以下温度条件也能保持其润滑性、耐磨性和强度。在 -18°（0°）及更低温度条件下进行的大量测试表明 PTFE 是低温应用的理想选择。在 -268°（-450°）的低温条件下，PTFE 几乎没有任何脆化现象；在 -73°（-100°）温度下，PTFE 仍然保持了极佳的柔韧性。
